First Day of 3rd Grade GT at BSE Begins with Breakout Edu

Third grade Gifted and Talented students at Boiling Springs Elementary participated in a game-based learning experience called Breakout Edu. Students were "trapped" and had to use critical thinking skills and collaborate with classmates to solve a problem using clues to unlock a box containing items of great value. The box contained 3 locks; a 4- digit lock, a 5 letter word lock and had to find a hidden key to unlock a normal lock. Students had 30 minutes to complete the task and they were successful! Check out this short video for a peek at our class today.
