Spelling: together, got, group, often, run, space, fence, price, office, police, pencil, adapt, survive, behavior, whole, part;  spelling test on Thursday

Social Studies: Explorers

Science: Plant Habitats and Adaptations

Math: Topic 16: Data (line plots, pictographs, bar graphs)

Important Dates:

Monday (art): wear black and white

Tuesday (music): wear overalls

Wednesday (PE): wear a vest; Bojangles biscuits on sale to support the K-9's

Thursday (computer lab): Farmer's Day

Friday (computer lab, maybe library too): Spirit Day

Today, you will be reviewing the lessons 1-3 of Topic 4 and taking a quiz in the teacher session. If you do not finish the quiz, take it to your desk and finish during game station and turn in when complete.

Science: Continue Plant Habitats and Adaptations

Social Studies: Continue Explorers

Math: Finish Topic 3- Addition and Subtraction; test on Friday

*Parent-Teacher conferences this week are scheduled to meet about 15 minutes. I will not be giving out report cards due to my conferences taking place a week early. These will come home in an envelope next week. You may keep the report card but please sign and return the envelope.

*Students who earned 100+ Class Dojo points last week have a spelling pass for this week

Science: Begin Plant and Animal Adaptations

Math: Continue Topic 3-Addition and Subtraction strategies

**Students are completing Reading Responses at school. Students have the opportunity to read a book and post a response to the book on Kidblog.org both in the mornings, during guided reading stations, and at home, if needed. This Blog post explains how students can earn 5 points for a response. Students are expected to earn 10 points per week for a 100 test grade for reading.
